Intellectual Property Office renews ‘interrupted day’ notice due to coronavirus (COVID-19)

The UK Intellectual property office has reviewed its decision in relation to 'interrupted days' due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. It has decided to continue with the period of interruption. On 27 March 2020, the UK Intellectual Property Office declared 24 March 2020 and subsequent days until further notice to be 'interrupted days' for the purpose of calculating deadlines​​ (see LNB News 27/03/2020 84​). It will be reviewed again on 28 May 2020 and customers will be given advance notice (at least two weeks) to plan prior to the end of interrupted days.
