Information on remote coronavirus (COVID-19) education expectations published

The Department for Education (DfE) has updated its guidance for teachers and leaders on teaching during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak to include information on remote education expectations. The DfE expects schools to ‘have the capacity to offer immediate remote education’ where pupils need to self-isolate or local restrictions prevent them from going into school.

Additionally, the DfE is also offering a number of school-led webinars on remote education, to promote the sharing of good practice. Information on the webinars and further guidance can be found here.
