HMRC guidance—Claim a grant through the coronavirus (COVID-19) Self-employment Income Support Scheme

This guidance has been updated with more information about the coronavirus (COVID-19) Self-employment Income Support Scheme, particularly around the eligibility for making a claim under this scheme. The changes include confirmation that if the 2018-19 tax return is not submitted by 23 April 2020, the individual will not be able to make a claim (save for those dealing with the disguised remuneration loan charge, where different measures are being used), details on how HMRC will work out the grant if the individual has not submitted three years of tax returns.
