Government publishes new guidance on quarantining amid coronavirus (COVID-19)

The Department of Health and Social Care has published new guidance for travellers to England who have visited or passed through a country where travel to the UK is banned in the last ten days amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The guidance sets out what to do before you travel, a quarantine calendar, what to expect at a quarantine hotel, how to check-in, how to help prevent the spread of coronavirus while in a quarantine hotel, and leaving quarantine, among other things.

Guidance on ‘Booking and staying in a quarantine hotel when you arrive in England’ has also been updated to link to guidance on ‘Who has to go into hotel quarantine'.
