Further countries added to UK red list amid coronavirus (COVID-19) concern

The Department for transport has announced that Ethiopia, Oman, Somalia and Qatar will be added to England’s red list, as of 4 am on Friday 19 March 2021, to protect the country against new variants of coronavirus (COVID-19). Portugal (including Madeira and the Azores) and Mauritius will be removed from England’s red list.

British nationals in countries which have been red listed in light of the coronavirus pandemic are urged to review the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office travel advice and follow local guidance, which can be found here.
