The EU agency for cybersecurity (ENISA) has shared its top tips for employers and staff working from home during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This initiative aims to maintain an adequate level of cybersecurity during teleworking. Recommendations for employers include ensuring that the corporate VPN is adapted to sustain a large number of simultaneous connections, providing corporate computers with up-to-date security software, and providing secure video conferencing for corporate clients. Recommendations for staff include connecting to the internet via secure networks instead of open networks, avoiding the exchange of sensitive corporate information by email, and fully updating antivirus and antimalware software.

The ENISA states that employees should also be aware and careful of phishing scams linked to coronavirus.
