Coronavirus (COVID-19)—HM Treasury publishes CJRS has been extended

HM Treasury has published its latest Treasury Direction in relation to the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS), issued by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak. This Direction extends and adapts the effect of the CJRS, for which HMRC is responsible for the payment and management of the payments made from the scheme. HM Treasury has published that the scheme has been extended for the period beginning 1 May 2021 and ending on 30 September 2021.
