Coronavirus (COVID-19)—self-isolation period extended from seven to ten days

The Chief Medical Officers for the UK have issued a statement regarding the extension of the self-isolation period for a person who has tested positive or has symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19). The recommended time for self-isolation has now changed from seven to ten days, which it is believed will 'help provide additional protection to others in the community'.
