AIM companies given another month to prepare biannual reports amid coronavirus (COVID-19)

The London Stock Exchange (LSE) has published an Inside AIM newsletter, setting out temporary measures for publication of half-yearly reports due to the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19). From 9 June 2020, AIM Regulation will allow AIM companies an additional month to prepare their biannual report. When the coronavirus related disruption to AIM companies eases, the LSE will announce its return to standard reporting periods under rules 18 and 191 of the AIM Rules for Companies.

AIM Companies which wish to use the additional period must state their intention to do so via an RIS prior to their reporting deadline under AIM Rule 18. The company’s nominated adviser must separately inform the AIM Regulation team.
