Uniphar’s headquarters is in Ireland.

Joint ventures

20 June 2019Vivo Energy plc and Kuku Foods East Africa HoldingsRetail & Wholesale TradeVivo Energy has announced a non-fuel joint venture with Kuku Foods East Africa Holdings to accelerate the roll-out of KFC restaurants in Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. The 50:50 joint venture will manage and operate the restaurants in the three markets on behalf of Kuku Foods, who will remain the local KFC franchisee.
Completion of this transaction is subject to standard legal agreements and regulatory and competition authority approval.

Returns of value to shareholders

18 June 2019Ashtead Group plcProfessional ServicesAshtead Group has announced that it has entered into an arrangement with Barclays Bank, acting through its Investment Bank (Barclays). The arrangement allows Barclays to make share purchases on the company's behalf pursuant to its buyback programme.

The possible cash offer values the entire issued share capital of BCA Marketplace at approximately £1.906 billion.The PUSU deadline is on 18 July 2019.
20 June 2019Premier Technical Services Group plc offer by Macquarie Group LimitedProfessional servicesPremier Technical Services Group announcedit received a recommended cash offer from Bernard Bidco Limited, a newly-incorporated company established on behalf of Macquarie Principal Finance Pty Limited (UK branch and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Macquarie Group Limited), for the entire issued and to be issued ordinary share capital of Premier Technical Services Group. The offer is to be structured by way of a scheme of arrangement. The offer value is approximately £265.3 million.
