Market Tracker: Trend Report - Trends in delistings from, and IPOs on, AIM Q3 2012 - Q3 2013

In the fourth of our Trend Reports we examine current market trends in respect of delistings from, and IPOs on, AIM over the past year.

Between Q3 2012 and Q3 2013, the number of delistings from AIM was not matched by a corresponding number of IPOs on AIM. This Trend Report provides detailed analysis of the reasons for delisting from AIM as stated in relevant circulars and/or announcements.

We focus on the reasons for delisting across different industry sectors, with particular focus on the investment industry sector, which accounted for a high proportion of the delistings analysed.

In addition to tracking key trends over the past year, we also look at what we can expect to see in the six months ahead as the markets begin to pick up.

This Trend Report also features charts and expert commentary from Alexander Keepin, a Partner at Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP.
