AIM Rule on adoption of corporate governance code sees benefits and more disclosure

The Quoted Companies Alliance (QCA) has revealed that a YouGov survey—commissioned by the QCA—looking at companies on AIM, shows a positive endorsement of the requirement for all AIM companies to adopt a corporate governance code. This requirement was introduced in September 2018, and since then almost 90% of AIM companies have adopted the QCA Corporate Governance Code. According to the survey, 39% of respondents say that the process of adopting a code has helped their business.
