Paula Tallon is owner of Tallon Tax which provides tax support to accountants and other professionals. She is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser. Having trained with a London based firm of accountants she subsequently joined a top 20 accountancy firm where she progressed to tax partner and became Head of Tax for the southern region. She joined Chiltern in 2005 to lead the team providing tax support to accountants and other professionals. Following the acquisition of Chiltern in 2007 she became a partner in BDO LLP. In October 2010 Paula established Tallon Tax which provides a new approach to independent tax support for accountants. Paula is a regular speaker at tax conferences and is lead author of Tolley’s Tax Planning for Owner Managed Businesses and has recently written a Tax Digest on Purchase of Own Shares.
