This is the Updating Service to The Laws of Scotland: Stair Memorial Encyclopaedia maintaining the currency of both original encyclopaedia titles and those titles reissued as part of the Reissue Service by providing detailed additions and amendments, paragraph-by-paragraph. During the service subscription year the noter-up is published in March as a cumulative supplement which, in turn, is updated at four-monthly intervals by a cumulative noter-up in looseleaf form. The Updating Service is charged annually.
The Updating Service published three times a year ensures that all current titles in the Laws of Scotland: Stair Memorial Encyclopaedia are up-to-date. The Updating Service comprises an annual Cumulative Supplement and a looseleaf noter-up which amends the Cumulative Supplement and is published in July and replaced in November. During the subscription year the subscriber will receive: * A Cumulative Supplement (published in March) for the whole of the previous year. This replaces the previous Cumulative Supplement and the November looseleaf both of which should be discarded. * A looseleaf noter-up in July which is filed in the Service Binder. The July looseleaf noter-up updates the Cumulative Supplement and should be used in conjunction with it. * A looseleaf noter-up in November which replaces the July looseleaf noter-up. The July issue should be discarded. The November issue is filed in the Service Binder and should be used in conjunction with the current Cumulative Supplement.
