Emden's Construction Law is the leading source of authoritative and detailed information on the whole area of construction law.
Volume 1 consists of a detailed narrative exposition of the law in all key areas including: formation and parties; scope of obligations; termination, compensation and other matters; responsibilities of and liabilities to third parties; and dispute resolution. Commentaries on all of the major construction contracts will be added in due course. Fully updated statutory materials, tables and an index are also included.
Volume 2 contains the most prominent members of the JCT 2011 suite of contracts. Subsequent Volume 3 (to be released in 2012) will contain the remaining most commonly used JCT 2011 contracts.
(Three titles comprising superseded contracts are still available. The first contains contracts dated 1980-1997 (see Product Code ECL8MW for more details). The second contains contracts from 1998-2004 (see Product Code EJCTMW for more details). The third contains contracts from 2005-2010 (call Customer Services for more details)).
This complete reference work is for all those involved in litigation, preparing tender or contract documents, working out claims for sub-contractors or advising borough architects or surveyors.
Currently two looseleaf volumes (expanding to three in 2012), seven updates per year, invoiced separately.
