Tax writer of the year award - Vanessa Houlder

Best tax investigations team - BDO Stoy Hayward

Best international tax team - PricewaterhouseCoopers Human Resource Services CIPS

Tax lawyer - Graham Aaronson QC

Best VAT team - Deloitte

Best tax team in a law firm - McGrigors LLP

Lifetime achievement - Mike Warburton

Best high net worth team - Eric Williams, Tax Partner and the team

Best tax lecturer - Rebecca Benneyworth

Tax personality of the year - Paul Aplin

The awards were not the only prizes of the evening after the ceremony and dinner were over, the best tax minds in the UK competed for the unofficial award of 'Most money won at the Charity Casino' - with all proceeds donated to Tax Aid.
