Begbies Traynor Group Implements LexisNexis InterAction for Client Relationship Management

Professional Services Firm Centralises Information to Meet Needs of Global Financial Client Institutions

London, 16 July, 2010 – LexisNexis UK (www.lexisnexis.co.uk), a leading provider of content-enabled workflow solutions, today announced that Begbies Traynor Group, a provider of specialist professional services, has selected InterAction® as its Client Relationship Management (CRM) solution.


 

The Group is currently enjoying a period of rapid expansion, and to meet and mirror the business processes of its clients, the organisation recognised a need for proactive management of client data within a centralised repository. To enable the firm to manage future expansion and strategic change, a decision was made to implement a CRM solution that could grow and evolve with the firm.

Previously, the organisation’s client data resided across 47 UK offices. Various departments and nearly 700 individuals relied on a multitude of spreadsheets and databases to log client information. As the firm’s size reached critical mass, it was clear that a more consolidated approach was needed.

As a provider of consultancy and expertise, the Group looked to organisations with similar challenges in other industries for CRM best practice. The professional services industry has relied on LexisNexis® InterAction® for guidance for more than a decade, and as the team at Begbies Traynor Group had experience working within global law firms, they included InterAction in the selection process.
