LexisNexis Announces Winners of Prestigious Halsbury’s Awards 2012
The Bar Library Belfast, Field Fisher Waterhouse and Addleshaw Goddard named as winners.
LONDON, 28 June 2012 – LexisNexis UK (www.lexisnexis.co.uk), a leading provider of content and technology solutions, today announced the winners of the Halsbury’s Awards 2012 at the 43rd British and Irish Association of Law Librarians (BIALL) Annual Conference held at the Hastings Europa Hotel, Belfast on Thursday, 14 June. This year the awards were presented by Susan Scorey, President of the British and Irish Association of Law Librarians, and Tom Laidlaw, Head of Academic Development at LexisNexis UK.

The Halsbury’s Awards were established in 2007 by the BIALL Awards & Bursaries Committee in conjunction with LexisNexis. The Awards recognise, celebrate and reward the dedicated performance and outstanding service given by legal information services, law libraries and those teams managing legal collections and resources. Nominations were received from those working within the law library and legal information profession as well as from those in practice.
