LEXISNEXIS UK AND BPP ENTER PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT
Complete training and development options for all levels from one provider
LexisNexis, a leading global provider of content-enabled workflow solutions, announces an agreement with BPP Europe’s largest professional education training company, to incorporate its professional development courses into the LexisNexis training and development offering, LexisLearning. This collaboration will complete the LexisLearning package by complementing the current offering of conferences and distance learning, with face-to-face legal training courses.
In partnership with BPP Professional Development, LexisNexis will now offer 320 individual legal training courses which run throughout the country on 2,100 occasions. This agreement will extend the LexisNexis training and development programme, called LexisLearning, to serve all management levels and enables all professional experience needs to be met.
This partnership will enable LexisNexis to further assist its customers in reducing their training costs by consolidating their training needs, whilst simplifying their administration burden. Currently many legal firms use three or four providers which requires considerable administration. By partnering with BPP, LexisNexis becomes a one-stop-shop for its customers' legal training needs, simplifying the administration and enabling them to extract more value from their training spend.
Josh Bottomley, Managing Director, LexisNexis UK and Ireland commented: "LexisNexis aims to be a one-stop shop for its customers to fulfil all their knowledge and training requirements. By joining forces with BPP Professional Development in this segment of the legal industry, we're able to address all the training and development needs for an increased range of experience levels."
Gregg Daniel, Managing Director of BPP Professional Education, said "Our partnership brings together two leading providers of learning and development to the legal profession under one roof with an unrivalled range of high quality training solutions in a way that creates value for our customers. We are proud to be partnering LexisNexis in this market-changing venture."
LexisNexis training and development offering is called LexisLearning and combines face-to-face conferences, courses, desktop Webinars and in-house training to deliver a blended and bespoke learning package. All training is fully accredited, researched and presented by expert speakers.
isLearning is one of the key elements of LexisNexis's new Legal Intelligence approach to knowledge and solutions. This newly launched proposition has been designed with lawyers for lawyers, and unites LexisNexis’s LexisLibrary (formerly LexisNexis Butterworths) with LexisLearning for training, a brand new Practice Support Law service, LexisPSL, and LexisApplications - drafting and practice automation tools, including the unique, LexisCheck which automatically identifies and checks the validity of citations in legal documents.
egrating these tools into a single intuitive working environment ensures that lawyers do not have to interrupt their work flow by switching between islands of information and the tools that are required to manage, produce and document legal work.
