Free Advice from Local Lawyers

LexisNexis LawyerLocator Hosts Drop-in Advice Sessions in Bristol City Centre on 22 April

London, 19th April 2010 - LexisNexis LawyerLocator is hosting free walk-in legal advice consultations for the public on Thursday 22 April at the Hotel du Vin, Bristol.

This event, which will run from 2pm - 3.30pm, is open to everyone with any legal issue from a divorce, buying or selling a house, redundancy, personal injury, to business law issues such as writing contracts and employment law. People will have the opportunity to speak to a specialist local lawyer about their legal issue in a relaxed environment, enjoy complimentary refreshments, and leave the event knowing how best to tackle their legal issue.

LexisNexis LawyerLocator is bringing together lawyers from across the South West to offer the free 30 minute consulting sessions (of legal advice) to local residents on Thursday 22 April in Bristol*.

Charles Barber of LawyerLocator said: "There are many times in peoples' lives when talking to a lawyer would provide reassurance and solve or prevent problems in the future; buying or selling a house, becoming a landlord, getting married, starting a business.  This event aims to raise the importance of talking to a lawyer and choosing the right lawyer for your needs.  When searching for car insurance you take the time to find the right cover for you.  We believe you should do the same for legal advice.

"The UK local legal industry offers a wealth of knowledge and delivers the personal touch.  We recommend that people think about upcoming legal crunch points in their lives and take the opportunity to seek out the right lawyer and take timely advice, especially when it is available for free", Mr Barber continued.

The lawyers who will be on hand at the event specialise in a broad range of legal issues from personal law such as neighbour disputes, faulty goods, buying and selling a home and criminal offences, through to corporate and business law such as debt recovery and tax law.

Denys Rayner, CEO of Pardoes Solicitors said: "Law shouldn't be a mystery - people need to be able to access legal advice quickly and simply. Local legal expertise is vital and early advice can help avoid the need for expensive action later.   At our three offices we pride ourselves on being the local legal experts.  Our lawyers combine a wealth of legal experience with local knowledge so that our customers get the best of both worlds.  Specialist legal advice is invaluable and it's important that people choose the lawyer that will best suit their needs."
