This forum brings together In-house lawyers like you to stimulate ideas and create a support network. It provides regular legal and soft-skills training, as well as mentoring, research papers and benchmarking services.
Join us at our upcoming Flying Solo breakfast networking event taking place on Wednesday 28th February 2018. We will start with a round-up of the latest news, focused on the commercial aspects relevant to you and practical next steps to consider. This will be followed by an interactive session on Brexit including in-depth breakouts to discuss, share insights and debate implications to consider.

Legal news update – led by Iain Larkins of Radius Law; get an update on the latest legal news with a focus on the impact to your business and the next steps you should consider.
Brexit – this interactive session will be led by Holly Nankivell from the LexisNexis PSL team. It will include a brief overview of the latest and most pertinent legal issues and practical implications to consider, followed by more in-depth breakouts to discuss and share insights.

Iain Larkins
Iain founded Radius Law in September 2013 which has been designed to meet the exacting standards that Iain had of his law firms during his time as an In-house counsel.
Iain’s In-house career spans 14 years with the 7 years from 2006 to 2013 being the General Counsel and Chief Compliance officer for the Mercedes-Benz UK Group. In this role he led a team of 18 staff.
Iain has previously been recognised in the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers report as a thought leader in legal management. He has spoken regularly and had published articles particularly on how to measure legal value.
Aside from legal management, Iain has significant expertise in regulatory work, particularly competition law and anti-bribery. Iain has led the implementation of large scale compliance programmes and also managed regulatory investigations.
Outside of the day job Iain has a passion for community projects and has been a non-executive director of a housing association and also established a debt advice centre. This social conscious approach continues in Radius Law with a bold commitment to pay 10% of profits to charity.
Holly Nankivell
Holly is a solicitor in the Commercial & Sectors Group within LexisPSL, focusing on public sector. She qualified in private practice having read law at university and attained her graduate diploma in legal practice with distinction. Before joining LexisNexis in 2014, Holly worked in-house for a major international oil and gas company. Holly assisted with the development and launch of LexisPSL Public Law in 2015. She now looks after a number of core public sector subject areas and works with colleagues and contributors across LexisPSL to provide a range of specialist content and tools on Brexit.
